Cesar Weber is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Lavras, Minas Gerais. His song 'Trem de Minas' became particularly well-known, with its imagery of train travel through the region's landscape. He performed at the Festival de Inverno de Ouro Preto in the early 2000s, which led to a record deal with EMI Music.
His debut album, also called 'Trem de Minas', came out in 2006. Other songs in his catalog include 'Amor da Terra', 'Clareia', and 'Olhar Blue'. His band has included musicians like guitarist Guilherme Lemos and bassist Fernando Nunes.
Weber has worked with other Brazilian artists such as Milton Nascimento and Maria Bethânia.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
