Chae Yeon started as Jung Hye-sun, training under DSP Media before debuting in 2000 with the girl group Bada. Her solo career took off in 2003 with 'Bazzaya,' a track that became popular across Asia. She followed it with songs like 'My Love' and 'Look Look Look,' which kept her in the Korean pop conversation through the mid-2000s.
She faced a serious car accident in 2005 that required extensive rehabilitation, but she returned to performing. Her music included upbeat dance tracks and ballads, with releases like 'The Letter' in 2006 and 'Bad Girl' in 2008. Beyond solo work, she performed with groups including SG Wannabe and S.E.S.
In 2017, she married businessman Lee Do-hoon and they had their first child. Her earlier songs, such as 'Come To Me' and 'Fool (Babo),' remain part of her catalog from that active period.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
