Chago was a Mexican band formed in the 1990s by brothers Sergio and Edgar O'Farrill with their cousin Jorge Zavala. Their 1995 single "Ámame" became a hit across Latin America, establishing them with a sound that mixed romantic ballads and pop.
In 1999, Jorge Zavala died in a car accident. The band continued, releasing albums like "Sueños de Amor" that same year and "Regreso al Amor" in 2002. They faced a plagiarism accusation over "Ámame" in 2005 but were later cleared.
Other songs like "Ojos Zafiro" and "Superhéroe" also appeared in their catalog. They marked their 20th anniversary with the 2014 album "Celebrando 20 Años."
