Out on corner St. Catherine

I hear a spirit sing

It's crying out for my attention

No one else hears a thing

So paralyzed I stood and watched

As he began to play just for me

Singing don't you be afraid cause I'm

Fighting all the powers over you

I don't want for you what's on me

Every time or place you'll be at

I'll be there telling you the truth

Of the world, what it is and who you are

I don't want for you what's on me

You got the potential to be

Greater than those who cradle you within their arms

Braver than those who couldn't change or broke apart

So then I ask him, Why me?

He tells me peacefully

You are a link to someone greater

And life is its name

Though no one here can hear my words

They all have met me someplace somewhere

Oh I've told them what I'm telling you

Simply to remind them of their fate

I don't want for you what's on me

You are a part of something greater

Sever the hold of your creator

Now that I had this vision

Can I fix this

Change our future

Leave our maker

Spirit tell me

I'm forgetting

What my purpose was

Show me, help me

To be free

Where was I the moment passed me

Anybody here know where I am?
