Chang Hung-liang

Chang Hung-liang is a Taiwanese singer from Kaohsiung who became known for his ballads in the 1980s. His 1983 song '你知道我在等你嗎' ('Do You Know I've Been Waiting for You?') was a major hit that established his presence in Chinese pop music.

In 1985, he was in a car accident that affected his vocal cords, which led him to adjust his singing approach. He continued performing and recording albums like 'Tears of the Pacific' and 'Ordinary Love' through the late 1980s and early 1990s.

He has worked with musicians including Wu Wen-ching on guitar, Lin Chen-hsiung on bass, and Wang Wen-hsiung on drums. His music tends to focus on straightforward emotional themes rather than complex arrangements.
