In 1476 A.D. to the south of Bucharest

A victory is overshadowed

Mistaken for a foe

Vlad Tepes died ruler of Wallacia

Never did they mourn him more

Gazing at the red dawn

Final victory defeated the Turks

Always looking to the sun

Order of the Dragon

Hear the sound of steel collide

Wounded soldiers lay side by side

Armour gleams and maces clash

Screams of horror the Prince is dead

In 1431 Vlad's father was sworn in

In the Order of the dragon he would serve

But years passed by and his father's thoughts ran stray

In 1447 he was murdered by John Hunyadi

At age 15 the prince was captured led in chains

To Constantinople the prison hoard

Tortured by the Turks it came to him one day

That fear would conquer all who stood in his way

As a man and a god did devise

As he promised never to fight

They took from him his mortal soul

Fighting them would bring him peace

Toppling his foes'

As he voyaged to his home land far

To the land of Transylvania

Riding on to his homeland he strived

In harms way he never knew why

In a jail he rotted alone

Never to seize the throne

It took 12 years before he would be set free

But first had to denounce all that he believed

As his victims screamed and cried

In a brutal and savage plight

Dining while impaling all his foes

The smell of death corrodes impaling them slow

As the war raged on and darkness fell

The battle hardened would never fail

The outskirts displayed a warning to all

An impaled army on the setting sun

As the Turkish army came passing by

Their leader faltered sent them marching home

(Solo: Frank, Cavey)

Fighting so valiantly

Minutes from victory

Savagely grinding in

Balance the scales have leaned

Maces and swords flow free

Like raging winds howl and scream

Glory within their grasp

As blood flows staining the grass

The fallen Prince lay still

Breathing his last breath chilled

Mistaken for a foe

Slashed by an allies sword

Knowing his time is up

Dazed as he gurgles blood

At all costs we have won

His eyes gaze to the dawn

Forever Immortal

Closing his eyes once more

Never to wake again

Rest in peace now my friend
