Se notició que ha sucedido un crimen
en el expreso que direito va a Torreón,
se victimó a un artista de cine,
que era el villano de películas de aición.
Muerto quedó de ochenta puñaladas
que algún fulano sin permiso se las dio,
el infeliz se defendió a patadas,
tan delicado nomás de eso se murió.
El inspeitor persona muy decente
halló el cadáver empinado en un furgón,
se malició que eso no era aicidente
y luego luego dio el aviso a la estación.
Iba en el tren un polecía privado
por la botella de mezcal que se empujó.
Interrogó al pasaje asustado
y luego luego la noticia se corrió:
- ¡La extra! ¡la extra!
¡El cadáver exige la devolución inmediata de su pasaje!

El tren siguió con el cuerpo mortuorio
se condujeron sospechosos a un salón
y comenzó cruel interrogatorio:
nadie había visto, nadie supo, nadie oyó.
El inspeitor que dije era decente
se le hizo bolas toda su declaración,
y confesó que le dio mate al cliente
porque en el cine era muy malo y muy matón.
Quiso escapar entre los polecías
y a coscorrones uno de ellos agarró,
y se soltó diciendo groserías
que la censura en este verso me tachó.
