Chickenfoot formed in 2008 when Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani, and Michael Anthony got together after a benefit concert and brought in Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. They released their self-titled debut album the following year, which included the track 'Something Going Wrong.'
That first album did well, and they followed it up with 'Chickenfoot III' in 2011 and a live compilation in 2013. The band's schedule was often complicated by the members' commitments to their other projects, which made consistent touring difficult.
They went on hiatus around 2016. Their catalog includes songs like 'My Kinda Girl' and 'Oh Yeah!' alongside 'Something Going Wrong.'
