I Tried to Do the Right Thing

Running over all the barriers i set

To keep an even keel to the pressure

Flooding over into basements getting wet inside, wet inside

And i've fallen in trouble

With all my plans and good intentions

Is there a momentary letup? i can't breathe

Or keep an even keel to the weather
