Christopher Lund Nissen was born in 1992 and started getting attention in Denmark after appearing on X Factor in 2012. He signed with Sony Music and put out his debut single 'Bad' the following year. That song did well on European charts, with its straightforward pop sound and lyrics about relationship trouble.
He's kept releasing albums since then, including Told You So in 2014, Closer in 2016, Under the Surface in 2019, and My Blood in 2022. Some of his other tracks like 'When I Get Old' with CHUNG HA and 'CPH Girls' show he's comfortable working within familiar pop structures.
There was some noise in 2016 about plagiarism claims for a song called 'I Won't Let You Down,' but that got dismissed. He performs with a band that includes Anders Rhedin on guitar, Sebastian Wolff on drums, and Mathias Dahl on bass.
