Picking Up My Pieces

So many times I found myself thinking

What did go wrong, that’s what I wonder

To tell the truth, I guess I’ll never know

My egoism was torn asunder

Like our ways that have been divided

It was your choice, I had to let you go

Living through a lie, I was hypnotized
