Their music drew some criticism for being sentimental rather than political, but they kept recording. They followed up with 'Chuva de Verão' in 2002 and 'Sol de Inverno' in 2005, which showed them working with folk and jazz elements alongside their core sound. Songs like 'Dança' and 'Rio e o Sol' came from this period.
They collaborated with artists including Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, and Marisa Monte. The band's lineup changed at times, but the three founding members stayed through those changes.
