Cia 1111

Cia 1111 formed in Lisbon during the early 1980s with Anabela Duarte on vocals, Mário Delgado on keyboards, Nuno Bettencourt on guitar, and António Faria on drums. They worked in a scene where alternative artists had limited opportunities, but they kept playing live and trying different approaches to their sound.

Their music mixed folk, jazz, and electronic elements in ways that didn't always sit well with critics or the mainstream industry.
