Cidade Aérea formed in São Paulo in 2008, with brothers Fernando and Rodrigo Lombardi, Pedro Garcia, and Marcelo D2. The name means "Aerial City," which they chose as a metaphor for their ambition. Their debut album, "Eletrônica Dançante," came out in 2010.
In 2012, the song "Cada Vez Melhor" became a breakout single for them. They followed it with the album "Interior" that same year. Other songs in their catalog include "Curtindo Um Sonho," "Depois da Guerra," and "Vou Seguir."
They've released five studio albums through 2020, including "Álbum" in 2014, "O Futuro" in 2017, and "Radar" in 2020. The current lineup still features Fernando Lombardi on vocals and guitar, Rodrigo Lombardi on bass, Pedro Garcia on drums, and Marcelo D2 on keyboards and synthesizers.
