Ciro formed in São Paulo in 2001 with Ciro Pessoa on vocals, João Bizz on guitar, Fernando Madureira on bass, and Bruno Graveto on drums. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2003, featuring the single 'Seus Olhos.'
They followed with 'Por Que Você Se Foi?' in 2005 and 'Festa Major' in 2009. A legal dispute over music rights in 2007 created challenges, but the band continued recording.
Later albums included 'Calor da Rua' (2011), 'Retrospectiva' (2013), 'Sobrevivendo no Inferno' (2016), and 'Noites de Janeiro' (2019). Another track, 'Um Brinde,' also appears among their work.
