That track became his most recognizable work, a straightforward anthem that connected with listeners across Brazil. He followed it with albums like 'Nosso Mundo Novo' in 2004, 'Ciro Gomes e Forró do Muído' in 2008, and 'Som do Coração' in 2017.
He has worked with musicians including guitarists Danilo Ramalho and Luiz Carlos, bassist Henrique Alvim, and drummer Rodrigo Reis. In 2012, he had a legal dispute with the label Som Livre over rights to his music, which was later resolved.
