Well it's another rainy night, here in my hometown,

And the rain beats down on the stone surround

Than my share that day and

When I left the factory gate

I was perfectly straight and sober but I

Stopped for a short one which led

To a long one and murder well he

Was six feet five, about twice my size

But I was crazy because I heard

Him say, my wife, in the day was no lady

I guess it's fair to say

I had more than my share that day
