Background notes

Archive material and source history

Clayhill was an indie rock band that formed in the early 2000s. Their lineup included vocalist and guitarist Nathan Connolly, bassist Steve Sladowski, and drummer John Foster. They released their debut album 'Lean into the Light' in 2005.

They're best known for their version of 'Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want,' which became something of an indie anthem.

Clayhill released three more albums after their debut: 'Revelation Days' in 2007, 'Winter Break' in 2011, and 'As It Is on Earth' in 2014. Their core lineup remained fairly consistent throughout their recording years.
