Their self-titled 1996 debut album included the song 'Mensagens,' which became a national hit in Brazil. The group's sound mixed rock and pop with some bossa nova touches.
Lineup changes happened over time, with Weldon leaving in 2002 and Guimarães departing in 2009. The band kept recording through these shifts, putting out albums like 'Olhos Fechados' in 2003 and 'A Estrada' in 2013. They also released an acoustic live album for MTV in 2005.
At one point, a concert in Florianópolis in 2000 ended with a fan brawl that led to the band avoiding the city for a while. Ricardo Gessinger's political comments sometimes drew criticism too. The current lineup includes the Gessinger brothers, André Jung on drums, Marcelo Camelo on guitar, and Pedro Guedes on keyboards.
