Club Banditz

Club Banditz is an electronic duo from Berlin, formed in the early 2000s by producers Marc Romboy and Stephan Bodzin. They came up in the city's underground scene, where Romboy's atmospheric techno and Bodzin's deeper, more introspective sound found common ground. Their first album, 'Endless Sunrise,' came out in 2002 and gave them a track that became something of an anthem.

That track, 'Endless Sunrise,' is probably what most people know them for. It's a good example of what they do: driving rhythms with ethereal melodies layered over them, creating a sound that's both propulsive and immersive. They followed it with albums like 'Elements' in 2004 and 'Perspective' in 2006, sticking with a style that blended techno with ambient and trance elements.

Their approach wasn't always an easy sell to everyone. Some critics found their music too experimental or esoteric, especially early on. But they kept at it, building a dedicated following among electronic music listeners who appreciated the atmospheric quality of their work. By the late 2000s, with albums like 'Identities,' they had established themselves as a consistent presence in that Berlin sound.
