Cocoa Brovaz was a quartet that put out four albums between 1998 and 2007. Their debut, 'The Cash,' arrived in 1998 and gave them their biggest hit with the title track. They followed it with 'No Way Out' in 2000, 'That's What's Up' in 2003, and 'New Direction' in 2007.
The group's lineup included lead singer Anthony "AJ" Johnson, keyboardist Terrence "Terry" Nash, drummer Timothy "Tim" Kelley, and bassist Anthony "CoCo" Jones. Johnson died in 2016. Their catalog includes songs like 'Back 2 Life,' 'Black Trump,' 'Blown Away,' and 'Bucktown USA.'
