I miss that burger joint down on 5th

That old record shop we used to thrift

I miss that hilltop park off 45

I miss our dive bar with two for ones

That red corner store with the broken pump

I miss that lakefront dock under the stars at night

Same food, same bars, same friends, same cars

Yeah it all looks the same

Too much has changed

The girl I love left this small town behind

So I just drive by

I miss teaching your dad the guitar

And that old oak tree swing in your front yard

I miss that long dirt road down to your house

I know I should move if I want to get easier
