Background notes

Archive material and source history

Collard is a rock band that formed in the early 2000s. Their debut single "Supercharged" came out in 2003 and became their breakthrough track. The band's lineup includes Jake Collard on vocals and rhythm guitar, Ethan Thomas on lead guitar, Simon Mason on bass, and Aidan Carter on drums.

They released several albums after that first single, including "Fuel for the Fire" in 2005, "Adrenaline Rush" in 2007, "Unleashed" in 2010, and "Pulse" in 2013. In 2009, Jake Collard was arrested for marijuana possession, which led to a brief break in the band's activity.

When they returned, they put out "Unleashed," which some listeners noted had more personal lyrics than their earlier work. The band has continued to perform live and record music since then.
