Combination was a German dance duo from Hamburg, formed in 1991 by Ronald Bogue and Andreas Gerlich. They started out playing clubs and festivals in the underground electronic scene, where their moody, melodic approach found an audience. Their debut album 'Natural High' came out in 1992.
In 1994, they released 'Crystal Night,' a stark ballad about the Nazi pogrom that became their breakthrough. The song's somber tone and direct lyrics stood out in the dance music landscape of the time. An album of the same name followed.
Later records like 'Metamorphosis' in 1996 and 'Reflected' in 1998 continued in a similar atmospheric vein. Other tracks from their catalog include 'Lost in My Blue,' 'Star Dust,' and 'Yume no ato ~after dream~.'
