Time Won't Take Away

the sun was unsure

and wet with rays

it shuffled down in an amber fade and

left us where we lay

we remade light

then we let it spill

made a radio out of movies and smoke

let it banter on the sill

then a very old song shot sparks from everywhere

in a see through arc time won't take away

as if all aong we'd been together here

in secret hours time won't take away

stepped into the pool

shook off all spells

we flew out from beneath troubled thoughts

like birds from a well

just like snow

like a sprung bow

this moment eternal we're in love

let the world come and go

run to the shore
