In 1995, their interpretation of 'Ave Maria' drew criticism from some conservative Catholic leaders who found it too secular. The choir continued working, blending choral harmonies with folk and pop elements. They released the album 'Vem e Eu Mostrarei' in 2000, which shares its title with one of their songs.
The group has seen lineup changes over time. Felipe Duran founded and directed the choir, with members including Ana Paula Lima, André Andrade, Patrícia Bastos, and Philippe Maia. They've also been involved in social outreach programs for youth.
