They followed Ten with Vs. in 1993 and Vitalogy in 1994. Their catalog also includes songs like "Chances," "Killing Me," and "The Angle." The band had a legal dispute with Sub Pop Records over royalties, and some members have spoken about struggles with substance abuse.
Core's music, particularly the album Ten, is often associated with the grunge sound that came from Seattle during that period. While their later work explored different directions, that early material, including "Alive," is what most people remember.
