Cox

Cox was a French pop band formed in the late 1970s by three brothers: Richard, Patrick, and Olivier Darbois. Their debut album 'Question d'honneur' came out in 1980, mixing rock, funk, and electronic sounds into something that felt different from what was happening in French pop at the time.

In 1982 they released 'A Chacun Son Temps,' which became their most recognizable song. It had a melody that stuck with people and lyrics about time passing that connected with listeners. Other tracks like 'Alice (paradis superficiels)' and 'Belle Journée' showed their range, from more reflective moments to straightforward pop energy.

They kept making music through the 1980s, though the existing history mentions some personal conflicts and industry changes that made things uneven. What's left is a handful of songs that still get played, less because of any grand legacy and more because a few of them just worked.
