Crazy Legs formed in the 1980s with Johnny "Legs" Morgan on vocals and guitar. They had a song called "You're My First Thought" that got some attention around 1985. The band put out a few albums after that, including Live at the Edge in 1987 and Wild and Free in 1989.
They were a rock band with a lineup that included Billy "Bones" Madison on bass, Tommy "Fingers" Davis on lead guitar, and Danny "Drums" Carter. Their sound was straightforward rock and roll without much fuss. They kept recording into the 1990s with albums like Breakaway and an Unplugged session.
By the mid-90s, they weren't as visible as they had been earlier. A compilation called The Best of Crazy Legs came out in 2000. Some of their material still gets played occasionally on stations that feature older rock.
