Crazy Monster

Crazy Monster formed in São Paulo in 1991, with Dani Wolf on vocals and Leo Ramos on guitar. They played a mix of rock, hardcore, and funk that didn't fit neatly into what was expected at the time. Their first album came out in 2001, called "Nada Mais Que o Padrão." The title track became something of an anthem for listeners who felt outside the mainstream.

That album got them noticed nationally, though their lyrics and performances sometimes drew criticism from more conservative corners. They kept playing and recording, putting out albums like "Sublime Decadência" in 2004 and "Monstruário" in 2008. Another song people remember is "Última Lágrima." The band's sound shifted some over those years, moving away from its rawest early form.
