Crazy Of This Town formed in Buenos Aires in 1995, originally calling themselves La Locura de esta Ciudad. The band's lineup included Gabriel "Beto" Petry on vocals, Gastón "Tato" Palavecino on guitar, Mariano "Manolo" Manzo on bass, and Cristian "Pity" Alvarez on drums.
Their music pulled from rock, punk, and heavy metal, with lyrics that often dealt with city life. In 2009, drummer Cristian Alvarez died in a traffic accident.
They had their biggest success with the single "Beto Petry" in 2010.
