Crimson Moon formed around guitarist and vocalist Ethan Blackwood, with bassist Damien Thorne and drummer Raven Shadowbane. Their first album, 'Whispers from the Abyss,' came out in 2010. A few years later, they released 'Ashes of Hope' in 2013, which had some melodic death metal and progressive rock touches.
In 2016, they put out 'Amidst Labyrinths Of Depression,' which includes the song of the same name. That track, along with others like 'Bloodstained Dreams Of The Dragon' and 'Her Cursed Kiss,' shows their tendency toward atmospheric, heavy music with emotional weight.
