Crystal Blue formed in Los Angeles in 1997 with Sarah Jones on vocals, Matthew Lee on guitar, Peter Thompson on bass, and Michael Carter on drums. Their debut album 'Reflections of Time' came out that same year. They followed it with several more records, including 'Distant Shores' in 2000 and 'Echoes of the Heart' in 2003.
Their song 'Memories of You' appeared on that 2003 album. In the same year, Jones dealt with vocal cord issues that led to some canceled shows. The band kept recording, putting out 'The Legacy' in 2006 and 'Memories of Time' in 2009.
