Crystalium

Crystalium was a French heavy metal band that released four studio albums between 2001 and 2009. Their music often dealt with themes of anti-establishment and disillusionment, which sometimes put them at odds with listeners who found their lyrics too confrontational. Songs like "La valeur de la haine" and "Analyse du Digne Vulgaire" became focal points for this tension.

The band's lineup included Nico on vocals, Matthieu and Eric on guitars, Antoine on bass, and Yoann on drums. They worked together through albums like "La Voix des Damnés" and "Les Racines du Mal," creating music that combined heavy riffs with melodic elements while maintaining their lyrical focus on societal critique.

Crystalium's approach never softened, even as their songs like "Au nom de la rébellion" and "Dans La Splendeur de Notre Irrévérence" continued to explore similar territory. They remained active through 2009's "Terra Incognita" before their recorded output stopped.
