Cult Tourist is an electro-pop duo from London formed by vocalist Victoria Park and multi-instrumentalist Freddie Green. They put out their debut EP in 2016, which included the track "Atomic Man." That song got some attention online and helped introduce their sound, which leans on Park's vocals over Green's production.
After that first EP, they released a few more singles and EPs over the next few years, including "Signal" in 2017 and "Light Years" in 2018. Their self-titled EP came out in 2020. Some of their later material has more ambient textures mixed in with the pop structures.
In 2018, they had some legal issues around their music rights that slowed things down for a bit. A few critics have called their lyrics straightforward. They're still working as a duo.
