Their debut album 'A Modest Recovery' came out in 2004, followed by 'Meet the Agents' in 2007 and 'Flickering Lights' in 2011. The core lineup included Wood on vocals and guitar, Michael McCourt on guitar and vocals, and John Dieterich on bass.
Their songs like 'A Modest Recovery' and 'Blank Calls' had a raw, abrasive quality that mixed electronic elements with indie rock. Wood's lyrics often dealt with personal themes that some listeners found cathartic, though others considered them too bleak.
They worked with collaborators including electronic musician Tim Hecker and singer-songwriter Will Johnson. The band's last album was 'The Mesa Years' in 2014.
