D 4rto formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s with four members: Daniel Garcia on vocals and guitar, Diego Lopes on bass, Rodrigo Oliveira on drums, and Thiago Oliveira on keyboards. They released their debut album in 2005.
Their song "Eu Não Consigo Esquecer" became a breakout hit. Another track, "Talvez Amanhã," appears among their top songs. The band faced some legal disputes and accusations of plagiarism along the way, but kept recording through the 2000s and 2010s.
Their lineup changed over time. In 2014, Gabriel Moura replaced Thiago Oliveira on keyboards. Matheus Gabriel joined as a second guitarist in 2016. Daniel Garcia left in 2018, with Rodrigo Cutrale taking over as lead vocalist. They released an album called "Horizonte" in 2019.
