D. Allan

D. Allan is the stage name of David Allan Dieppa, a singer from Lima, Peru. His career took off in 1990 with the release of his debut album, 'Amor de Locos,' which shares its name with its popular title track. The song became a hit, establishing him in Latin music.

His music often dealt with themes of love and heartbreak, which sometimes drew criticism for being too provocative. He worked with other artists, including Spanish singer Isabel Pantoja and Mexican pop singer Yuri. He also recorded an album with Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez called 'D. Allan Sinfónico.'

For much of his career, his band included Gerardo Barroso on lead guitar, Roberto Espinoza on bass, César Vega on drums, and Kike Fuentes on keyboards. He released music for over twenty years.
