Background notes

Archive material and source history

D Date was a Korean pop band that formed in 2002 with vocalist Oh Hyun-joon and multi-instrumentalist Hong Kyung-min. They were later joined by bassist Kim Sang-min and drummer Park Jung-min. The group released songs like "Change My Life" and "Catch a Train!" before disbanding in 2009.

In 2003, they put out a single called "Love Heaven" that became their most recognizable track. A few years later, in 2006, the band faced plagiarism allegations regarding that song. They were cleared of the claims, but the situation affected their standing.

Their catalog includes other releases such as "Once More" from 2004, "White Love" from 2006, and "Regret" from 2008. Songs like "All For One" and "See You Later, Goodnight" round out their work from that period.
