Dableu T formed in 2002 in Salvador, Brazil, with Neilton Bahia on vocals, Eder Gabriel on guitar, Rafael Dantas on bass, and Renan Ribeiro on drums. Their music combined traditional religious hymns with Afro-Brazilian rhythms, a mix that drew attention for its blend of sacred and secular elements. Some conservative religious groups criticized this approach, while others saw it as an authentic expression of faith.
Their debut album "Hinos & Tambores" came out in 2003 and established their sound. They followed it with albums like "Devoção" in 2007, "Axé" in 2010, and "Iroko" in 2014.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
