His song "É Você" became particularly well-known, along with tracks like "3 Semanas" and "Aquilo Que Chamamos De Perdão." Lima's solo work included albums such as "Loucuras de Amor" in 2001 and "Rio Bossa Nova" in 2020.
He worked with musicians like Marcelo Costa on bass and Kadhu Monteiro on drums. Lima's music drew from rock, blues, and soul, and he sometimes faced criticism for moving away from Legião Urbana's sound.
