His solo work includes albums like "O Apropriador" from 2003 and "Samba Raro" from 2008. He's recorded with other Brazilian musicians including Caetano Veloso and Marisa Monte. Other songs like "Eu Vim Aqui Pra Que" and "Peão da Capital" show up in his catalog.
In 2010 he had some legal trouble around drugs, and later put out the album "Jardim de Infância" in 2016. He's played with musicians like bassist Nelio Rosa and drummer Marcelo Bonfá over time.
