DADWAVE

DADWAVE formed in Copenhagen around 2014 as a trio of friends working on electronic music in a small studio. The group includes Emil Wilk on vocals and lyrics, Asger Tarp handling the electronic production, and Mads Damsgaard Kristensen on rhythm. Their early material had a quiet, atmospheric quality that built them a following.

In 2017, they released an album called "High in the Daytime," which included the track of the same name. That song became their most recognizable piece, moving beyond their local scene. The music tends toward introspective electronica with ambient textures and steady beats.
