Dae-zy One formed in 2008 with Daniele de Souza on vocals, Fabrizio Ciorba on guitar, Daniel Carmo on bass, and Marcelo Rodrigues on drums. Guilherme Santos joined as keyboardist in 2012. Their debut album 'Só Quero Ser Feliz' came out in 2011 and included the track 'Amor I Sério'.
In 2013, 'Amor I Sério' was at the center of plagiarism accusations that the band denied. They followed up with 'Um Novo Amanhecer' in 2014 and 'Além do Horizonte' in 2017.
