Daemon formed in London around the mid-2000s, with Jake Shepherd and Ethan Bell working together on electronic productions. They were joined by vocalist Anya Lee, whose voice became a recognizable part of their sound. Their debut EP 'Ethereal' came out in 2007.
In 2009, they released 'Feel Good,' a track that found a wide audience and became their most well-known song. It's still the track people mention first when talking about Daemon. Other songs in their catalog include 'Come Die With Me,' 'Crucifixion,' 'Cursed,' and 'Disconnect.'
Around 2012, there was some public discussion about similarities between 'Feel Good' and another artist's work, though Daemon maintained their creative process was their own. The band kept making music after that period.
