Daisy Jones & The Six formed in Los Angeles in the late 1960s. The band centered on Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne, with Karen Sirko on keyboards, Graham Dunne on bass, Eddie Loving on drums, Chuck Williams on guitar, and Peter Lawford on saxophone.
Their debut album 'Aurora' came out in 1969, followed by 'After the Rain' in 1970 and 'Honeycomb' in 1971. The song 'Honeycomb' became particularly well-known, with its haunting melody and introspective lyrics.
The band broke up in 1972 after internal tensions escalated, including Billy Dunne's struggles with addiction and the complicated relationship between Daisy and Billy.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
