Archive material and source history
Lisa Dalbello formed the band Dalbello in 1983 after performing with Translator. The group included guitarist Terry Reid, bassist Pat Regan, and drummer Paul Ferguson. Their 1986 single "All That I Want" became a hit, though its suggestive lyrics and the band's stage presence drew criticism from some quarters.
Dalbello released five studio albums between 1984 and 1992, including Sweet Desire and World Without Lies. Other songs like "Animal" and "Black on Black" appeared in their catalog. The lineup shifted over time, with Stevie Salas replacing Reid on guitar and Robert DeLeo joining on bass.
By 1992, Lisa Dalbello had begun a solo career, effectively ending the band. She continued performing and recording on her own until her death in 2015.
