Damasco e Damasceno formed in 2008 with Rodrigo Damasceno on vocals and guitar and Carlos Damasceno on bass and backing vocals. They released three albums: O Avesso in 2011, Palavras ao Vento in 2014, and Perdido in 2017. Their songs like Meu Adeus and Teu Fingimento work with acoustic guitar and subtle percussion, often about love and heartbreak.
Their 2017 album Perdido included the title track that became well-known. Other songs in their catalog include Falsa Mulher, Distante de Ti, and Casinha Branca. They perform in Brazil, drawing audiences with straightforward arrangements and emotional lyrics.
