They followed that with albums like 'Requiem for a Dream' in 1999 and 'The Devil's Symphony' in 2002. Other songs in their catalog include '(I Don't Wanna Fall) to the Fire' and 'Alive'.
Smith's lyrics and public statements sometimes drew attention beyond the music itself. The band kept recording through the 2000s, putting out 'Ashes to Ashes' in 2005 and 'Phoenix Rising' in 2010.
