In the early 2000s, she formed the Dana Fuchs Band with bassist Jon Diamond, drummer Karl Denson, and guitarist Robben Ford. Their first album, "Lonely for a Lifetime," came out in 2003. Their second album, "Love to Beg," followed in 2008 and included the song "Drive."
In 2011, there were plagiarism accusations about "Love to Beg," which Fuchs denied. After that, she stepped back from public view for a while.
